Grants Farm Halloween Visit 2009

October 23 we visited Grants Farm for their Halloween night. I would not suggest wasting your time or money. Nevertheless, photos were taken and we captured the memories of Halloween at Grants Farm 2009. I guess good thing, since we will not be going back in the future. The best part was Rick scaring Annie during the tram ride.

The Story of Leah and Her Peach

A few nights ago Leah was enjoying a peach for dessert.

Then is seemed, Lily got wind that there was a prospective food item within her reach. She became very adamant in succeeding her goal of having a bite of that peach as well.

Turns out when Leah was done slobbering all over the peach, Lily was more then pleased to get the reject piece.

Leah In Her Big Girl Bath Tub!

Today we start a new phase.  Leah begins to take baths in her “big girl” tub.  Of course, how big girl can it get when you are bathing in LITERALLY a Rubber Ducky?

Leah Sitting Up By Herself!

I would say Leah has been learning how to sit up by herself for a few weeks now. Tonight she spent about an hour just sitting on the floor playing by herself. She only needed help after falling over 2 times. I even walked out of the room for a few minutes (with pillows all around to pad her fall of course) - and she did great! She even took a bath tonight in her "big girl" tub for the first time since she has been sitting so well.

Any my baby continues to grow up. Milestone after milestone.

Leah Visits The Farm

A few weekends ago Leah, Mommy, Daddy, and Grandma (oh, Lily too) headed up to Great Grandma and Great Grandpas farm house to pick apples and pumpkins.  We had a fun time even though the day went by too fast and we didn’t come home with any apples or pumpkins.

Here are a few photos of our trip.  Leah’s first trip to the farm.

Hopefully the first of many.

Leah buckled in for the long drive:

Some more videos

It is so nice to finally find the time to go through my camera and organize my photos and videos. Of course, that caused my camera battery to go dead. But that is such a small price to pay. That and my numb rear-end from sitting in this chair forever.
Anyway here are two video's I wanted to share:

Sergei and Leah:

Leah TRYING to crawl...we are almost there...I think she is getting the concept down with the knees and butt up...

Great Aunt Marie Makes Leah Laugh!

Leah’s Great Aunt Marie and Great Uncle Paul were in town a few weeks ago. I have been wanting to post this video. Marie was making the “popping” noise with her finger and was totally making Leah laugh up a storm.

Additional Sears Portriat Photos

Sears finally added some Leah's photos to their online access. Here are a few additional photos for you to view.

There are still a few missing. Hopefully the rest will show up. Although Sears did a good job, I might go elsewhere next time. Getting online access to my photos has been a pain in the rear!

"Got Milk" ads... featuring LEAH ROSE

Ok, so on the bottom photo I didnt add a milk mustache...Leah drinks from a bottle. They didnt have a "milk drool down the chin" ad.
But she looks like she is taking after daddy - a golfer in the future?

Mommy is learning new things

Do you know what “selective coloring” is? I didn’t! It wasn’t until I started checking out other photos of other mommy’s babies that I noticed moms were working on editing their babies photos with selective coloring. Pretty much taking a black and white photo and adding a “touch” of color. Actually, this could become a very addictive hobby. (As if I don't have enough to keep me busy)
Below are my first three “selective coloring” projects:

Leave a comment, let me know what you think of selective coloring photos.
