Spending Time With Daddy

There is nothing like a genuine father- daughter moment.

When did you go on your first date?

Tuesday evening Rick, Leah and I met our friends Brian, Mandy and Brendon Bohner at Chris' Pancake House.

Brendon is about 3 months older then Leah.

Here they are pulled up the the table together. Leah was a little fussy that evening. She let the whole place know she wasn't happy. I doub't she is going to get a call back for a second date acting like that.

What do you do during summer time?

HANG OUT AT THE POOL - of course!

It's TUMMY TIME!

Momma keeps putting Leah on her tummy... but she does NOT like it.

She rolled from her belly to her back by herself on July 18th at Great Grandmas house. She has not done it since, since she does not tollerate being on her belly. I mean, come on - you wouldnt like it eaither if you were on your belly and couldn't see what was going on in the world around you.
Wedneday at Grandmas house she rolled from her back to her belly by herself...but I haven't seen her do that yet either. My mom had her on the floor laying on a blanket on her back. She said she went into the other room and when she came back Leah was on her stomach.
Maybe I will get to witness it this weekend.

Well, It's About Time Momma!

I feel as if I have not had a chance to update the bog in weeks. Which I guess is about right. We have lots of pictures of growing Leah for all of you to see!

Currently, Rick, Leah, and I will be "roughing" it in the basement of my parents house for a few days. Our air conditioner is on the fritz for only the 6th time this year. If all goes well we are scheduled to get a brand new unit within the next week. In the mean time, this 100 degreesish St. Louis weather is not going to cooperate with us. So we are moving into my parents house for a few days. I know my dad had a "no return policy" on me when I got married.. but I bet he never thought I would be returning with not 1 extra person, but a baby AND a dog! hahahaha, he should have been more specific about that policy!

Anyway - that is what is going on here. Leah is growing like grass. Sitting with support, eating pears, peaches, bananas, peas, applesauce, carrots, squash, and baby cereal.
